The CB Hopper Feeder is used for temporary storage and automatic feeding of rag tearing machines or fibre openers.
The machine has the following characteristics:

• The PVC feed conveyor with hardened steel spikes on internal wooden slats is hinge-type for easy replacement. Tension of conveyor is adjustable
• The horizontal conveyor can be made of either PVC apron with internal wooden slats or galvanized metal slats with special profile. It can be supplied in the following standard lengths: 2000 – 4000 – 6000 – 8000 mm
• Spiked apron and horizontal conveyor are driven by an independent gearbox with variable speed controlled by frequency inverter
• Two rollers with doffing paddles allows a steady feeding volume and a perfect delivery. The delivery roller is driven by an independent gearbox with motor
• The machine is built in modules for space saving in the shipment and easy re-assembling
• The machine can be equipped with a special magnetic bar for the elimination of ferrous impurities and stainless steel delivery plate
• The machine is equipped with a sprinkler bar with electrovalve for the application of softening and antistatic chemicals
